F.A.Q
Twisted Fold is a hand-sculpted fabric relief, two fields of tightly pleated textile, one ivory-white, one dove-grey, drawn together into a single twisted knot at the centre of the piece. The pleats fan outward from that point in fine, raised ridges, so the surface reads as fabric even from across a room, long before you are close enough to see the individual folds.
The mood is precise and a little tense in the best way, two distinct tones pulled toward one point of resolution. It reads as considered and architectural rather than soft or purely decorative, even though the material itself is textile.
It suits a living room wall as a graphic focal point above a low sofa, a bedroom where its two-tone calm works well against plain linens, or an entryway that benefits from one confident, sculptural first impression.
A twist or knot binding two separate fields together is often read as a symbol of union, two distinct things meeting and holding at a single point rather than staying apart. With one tone light and one tone dark, drawn together at exactly one fold, this piece makes that reading literal rather than borrowed. It is a work people choose when a room needs resolution, not just decoration. Bring it home, and let that single fold hold the room’s two tones together.
