F.A.Q
Twenty-Five Drops is a textured wabi-sabi wall piece: twenty-five small black plaster tiles, each hand-cast and slightly imperfect, arranged in a loose grid over a weathered, stone-pale ground. From every tile a single thin drip runs downward, as if the piece is still settling, still becoming rather than finished. Up close, no two tiles are quite alike, each carrying the small trace of the hand that cast it.
The mood is contemplative rather than dramatic. There’s a rhythm to it — twenty-five small moments repeated with quiet variation — closer to meditation than to statement art, the kind of piece that rewards a second, slower look. It slows a room down the way a dripping tap or a ticking clock can, without ever feeling anxious.
This is a piece for spaces where stillness is welcome: a meditation or reading corner, a study where focus matters, a hallway that could use a pause point, or a bedroom wall that shouldn’t compete with rest. Its weathered, neutral ground settles quietly into most interiors.
In wabi-sabi thinking, repetition and imperfection together are often read as a symbol of patience — the understanding that most things worth having are built slowly, drop by drop. For anyone drawn to a slower way of living, this piece is less decoration than a daily reminder to let things take the time they actually need.
